Standard Container Types/ Dry container

It is the commonest type of shipping container dimension used as a standard freight unit for sea transportation. These are not suitable for transporting liquids. The most common shipping container dimension of the container comes in 20ft and 40ft shipping container sizes that make it perfect for transporting in the sea or land. The standard shipping container dimensions tend to differ from the model as well as the manufacturer. On the other hand, high cube containers are another popular standard shipping container type that offers a higher capacity to transport larger cargos.

Refrigerated Container

Containers are not only used for transporting dry goods but also items that are required to be kept at a proper temperature. These products include food, medication, or electronics stored under accurate temperature that prevents damage. The type of container used for transporting these materials is done through a refrigerated container.

Ventilated Container

A ventilated container is similar to a standard shipping container type. Both types of containers come in a 20ft container size. However, the exception between both is the opening gaps that assist in supplying air inside the container. These containers are used for transporting goods requiring continuous airflow for transporting products like vegetables, coffee, etc.
